Complaint and business response. Source reviewed November 6, 2026. This is editorial research, not the publisher’s firsthand account.
A complaint becomes easier to assess when the business’s answer is read alongside it. This record contains both. Neither account should be silently elevated into an independently established version of events.
The customer’s account
A complaint dated April 21, 2026 on Empire Tech’s BBB profile names Bahamas House of Brands and Hermesea. It describes purchases on January 21, 2026 totaling $31,500, with $29,900 disputed. The complainant alleges pressure, misleading product and medical claims, and inadequate advance disclosure of the return policy.
The published business response
In its June 15, 2026 response, the business says the purchases were authorized, card-present transactions, that products were demonstrated and supplied, and that signed documents acknowledged the terms. BBB labels the complaint “Answered.” That status does not by itself mean the customer accepted the response or received a refund. Read the complaint and response on BBB.
The limits of this review
The public record does not identify Amit Mor as a participant in this sale. This website has not inspected the underlying sales documents. The Hermesea trading-name entry is separate identification material, not proof of the complaint.
What would help resolve the disagreement
The central evidence would be the material each side says supports its account. What was described before payment? Which goods were listed, and at what individual prices? When were the return terms presented? Were the written descriptions consistent with the sales demonstration?
Those questions allow a dispute to be examined without assuming that a payment authorization answers every concern about the surrounding sales process. Equally, a customer’s dissatisfaction does not automatically establish an unauthorized charge. The specific claim and the supporting record need to match.
